Deep, old voices shake the skies, spreading their hands wide above the limitless universe, expanding their gifts to the mortals below. Generations show within the erosion of ancient castles built into the sides of mountains, to cobbled villages in the plains below. Mysteries encase hidden pockets, buried secrets through expansive centuries. Just look to the sky, where the presiding dieties reign from star strewn seats, providing their beloved mortals with endowed gifts.

New arrivals not born to the land awake disoriented, uncertain of how they came to the land of Luminaria. Often it is thought that the world is parallel to another in existence, thus creating a rift in areas that allow those from outside to shift over. A cut in the fabric of the universe. Natives understand fine webbing of magic, and the fabrication of time, though are none wiser than those who wake up within a world of magic.
