Prides

Pride Leaders

Pride leaders are comprised of the monarchs. They have the last say in any decisions on how a pride is ran. Any gender or otherwise may take position as a monarch, either as sole ruler or with a partner. There are some requirements to lead a pride as listed below:

  • 50 on-site posts unless won through a raffle or other on-site event.
  • Keep the pride page updated.
  • Interact with pride members at least once every 2 weeks.
  • Pride checks occur once per month.
  • Grow your pride!

Pride leaders may claim any feline they wish to inhabit their pride or take prisoners as they see fit via the appropriate fight type.

Pride Structure

Monarchs

There are two pride leaders that make all executive decisons for how the pride operates. Leaders are able to claim, steal, and promote members of their pride at any given time. One leader must be appointed as the main leader, who may override the secondary leader of the pride.

Luminaria does not require a certain level of activity for pride leaders. What is requested is that pride leaders keep track of their members, ranks, and make note of any pride rules and pride news.

Regent

One regent is appointed to look over the pride in the case of absence of the pride leaders. In the event that both pride leaders are absent or perish, the regent will take over pride leadership. Although they may invite, claim, or steal members into the pride, they cannot promote others without the permission from a pride leader.

Royalty

Prides may have two lords or ladies who assist in the day-to-day running of the nation. Either two lords, two ladies, or one lord and lady may be placed within the pride ranks. These pride members are trusted by the leaders and able to make minor decisions about pride life. They may invite, claim, or steal other cats into the pride but cannot promote members.

Aristocrats

Two may fill the ranks of baron and baroness in any capacity. While they can invite members into the pride they must have the members officially joined into the pride via a lord, lady, regent, or leader. While trusted members of the pride they are seen as those with potential, but not the ability to make important decisions for pride life.

Archseer

Wrapped by the mystical, far-seeing, the Archseer is appointed by the primary pride leader to advise them on the best moves for the pride. Often times they are included in important decisions and are seen as the connection between other prides. There is only one Archseer per pride, and while they cannot claim, invite, or steal members into the pride their opinion often holds more weight than others.

Sentinel

The sentinel is the leadership of the pride's guard entrusted with the responsibility of leading the soldiers of the pride. They are not able to invite, steal, or claim members into the pride. Above all else they are the advisors to war and challenges, and may answer any challenge instead of the pride leader with exception to a challenge directly for leadership. Protectors of the innocent, they may keep members of the pride from being stolen, and are often revered as heroes.

Physician

Attendents to the sick, injured, and pregnant, the pride's Physician plays an important role in keeping the pride whole. Masters of their craft, they are held in high regard and treated with great respect for their work. Only one physician heads the pride's remaining menders, often in charge of teaching others the main components of their jobs and keeping the sick ward in order.

Members

The general public of the pride. Never capped for numbers, there is the balance of numbers versus resources that pride leaders should always account for. Often times members uphold occupational ranks such as seers, guards, menders, and help tend to the youth of the pride.

Cubs & Adolescents

Products of the pride's members there is always the next generation. Cubs cannot do much within the pride, their main concern is learning the basics of life and pride structure. At the time they are 1 year old they are considered an adolescent, and cannot hold any rank until 3 years of age.
