Rolling to Hit
You will be rolling a simple 1d20 with any constellation benefits added in to determine whether or not your character's attack(s) successfully land. If the attack is a glancing blow the damage received is halved. If a successful dodge is rolled no damage is dealt.
- MyBB command: [roll=1d20]
- 8-20 full hit
- 1-7 glancing blow
Rolling Damage
To roll damage there we roll a 2d10 that determines the damage of a full hit to be role-played out how the player wishes. If a glancing blow is rolled this halves the damage, rolling a 1d10.
- MyBB command: [roll=2d10] or [roll=1d10]
- Ex: Rolling a 13 is a successful hit and rolling a 3 would deal 3 damage unless the attack is successfully dodged.
- The only way to deal more damage than 10 is by utilizing a constellation perk as found on the constellations guidebook page.
Rolling to Dodge
- MyBB command: [roll=1d15]
-
- 1-5 successful - negates damage
- 6-10 half damage
- 11-15 unsuccessful - full damage
- Ex: Rolling a 7 lessens the damage done to the character by half (or nearest rounded number), meaning if 9 damage was rolled, 5 damage would be dealt (rounding up from 4.5).
- In the event a glancing blow is rolled and half damage is rolled for a dodge, a 1d5 will be rolled for damage.
- MyBB command: [roll=1d5]
